Working with adoptable animals is a very important part of the work I do with my photography. I am fortunate to have the chance to work with the cats, dogs and other animals waiting for homes at some of the local rescue groups in Tucson, Arizona. Last year an estimated 3,600,000 cats and dogs were euthanized in the United States because there were not enough willing homes for them. Still we've made huge progress towards eliminating the number of animals euthanized over the last few decades and I believe we are now close to the point that cats and dogs will no longer be euthanized for lack of resources.
In addition to working with local adoptable animals, I am proud to be working with the non-profit organization called HeARTs Speak. HeARTs Speak was founded with the expectation that visual artists can make a very real difference in helping adoptable animals find homes.
Please consider helping me in this work. If we all work together in our local communities, we can make a difference.
